Incentive Scheme to encourage Energy Conservation
The Honourable President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, during his Address delivered on the ‘National Energy Conservation Day’, 14th December 2005 has advised the following:-

i) Companies may introduce appropriate incentive systems to encourage the employees to conserve energy;

ii) Creating an idea bank in which employees can provide innovative solutions for energy efficiency operations. There must be a system of analysis of ideas for implementing practical ideas on the shop floor and suitable reward.

In view of the above, it is requested that the existing incentive scheme, already in force in your organization to encourage the employees to conserve energy as well as creating an idea bank in which employees can provide innovative solutions for energy efficiency operations may please be sent to the Bureau immediately. In case such schemes are not in force in your esteemed organization, kindly inform us your organisation plans to initiate such initiatives.

We would request you to please send us the details as requested above by 22nd June 2006.
