MINISTRY OF LAW, JUSTICE AND COMPANY AFFAIRS (Legislative Department) New Delhi, the 1st October, 2001/ Asvina 9, 1923 (Saka) The following Act of Parliament received the assent of the President on the 29th September, 2001, and is hereby published for general information:--
THE ENERGY CONSERVATION ACT, 2001 No 52 OF 2001 (29th September 2001)
An Act to provide for efficient use of energy and its conservation and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty second Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
